Our Love Story
What started as a simple connection has turned into something truly special. Our love has grown through laughter, adventures, and countless memories. We're excited to share the story of how we found each other and fell in love.
Our story starts with Tinder (a dating app.) Claire attended school in Greensboro, NC and matched with Bryce in early February. We quickly decided to set up a date - we first met at Tate St. Coffee on February 10th, 2019 and we've been together ever since!
Our wedding hashtag reflects how matching with each other on Tinder brought the perfect partner into our lives- #theperfectmatchett.

At the time we started dating, Bryce had been accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, and was set to start school in June. We both thought the other wouldn't want to keep seeing each other once Bryce left for Boston- we soon discovered we liked each other too much to let that happen! So began four years of long distance dating. We made it work through lots of FaceTime calls, endless texting, and flying back and forth to spend time together. Through it all, we never questioned whether it was worth it- we knew we had found the person we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with and no amount of distance could keep us apart!
We started dating in February of 2019, but didn't take a single picture together until Easter a few months later!
Whenever Claire visited Bryce at school in Boston, we would be sure to get a sunset picture before she went back home.
We took our first big vacation together to visit Disney World.

The years flew by as we fell more and more in love with each other, making lots of memories along the way!​ It wasn't long before we knew we wanted to get married, but we wanted to wait for Bryce to graduate from Berklee first.
In the meantime, we continued to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and special occasions together whenever we could.
Finally, it was time to pop the question! On October first, 2023, (Bryce's birthday!) he proposed at Siesta Key Beach in Florida as the sun was setting.
